Coming from Bermuda, where our largest city can be compared to a small town in some of the most popular travel destinations. Our experience living in Panama city was quite eye opening, lots of people everywhere, cars and traffic all day and night.
The brightly lit billboard signs along with the large TV monitors in and around the city. The sound of music in the air, horns honking, jack hammers digging away.
The smell of cooked food and music spilling out of restaurants and nightclubs as well as the numerous events happening in the city was a lot to take in.
We arrived just in time to enjoy the many lights that light up the city during the Christmas holiday season. Happy shoppers filled the malls. The people are kind and friendly.
For us it was beautiful. Que bonito en la ciudad (How beautiful the city).
